My buck has started to move with jerking motion

Hi all, one of my bucks has began to move with a weird motion, like my subject line informs you. He walks like he is jerking...like a disco without the lights. I have not as yet found any information. He has not displayed this type of motion before.

We need some background info, Deb.
How old is he?
Does he live on his own or with a friend/group?
Where do you keep him? Could it be poisoning or fumes?
Have you changed his diet or given him food that is unsuitable?
Is he healthy? - No lumps or bumps, sneezing or clicking noises.
Have you checked his feet for infections, splinters etc?

Sure, unsure of his age because I brought him from the pet shop. I have him housed alone in his bachelor pad as he is unsocial with other males. We have received a lot of rain lately so he may have a cold. Nil sneezing or clicking. Nil lumps or bumps. He has got in a scrap with his neighbour and has cuts on his tail but I have been keeping it clean. He could have had a mouse epileptic fit?? He hasn't done it again so I am hoping it is a once off thing. Thank you for your response.
