very exciting, Serena had 9 pups this afternoon. We've had a quick peek and most are black-eyed as expected but I did spy 1 pink-eyed and a couple of manx.
This should be a superb litter for conformation.

I'm glad to hear that the bubs arrived safely and successfully! I'd be interested in this litter as well. Nice to be able to confirm that Serena's got some manx in her. And what do you think the pink-eyed bub is, himalayan?

another quick look today. Counted 3 manx, all nice butts, 8 black-eyed babies and 1 pink-eyed. The pink-eyed is also a manx (very happy), so this will be Siamese. Serena is c(h)c(e) x Sirocco is c(ch)c(h)

I don't know why, but this is the first time I twigged that Siamese had pink eyes too. o.O Don't know how I missed that!

Siamese has ruby eyes, Himalayan has pink eyes. In newborn pups you can only distinguish black eyes, if the eyes aren't obviously black, then they're either pink or in the case of Siamese, ruby.
One of the manx looks like a blue Hereford - very excited. So this litter carries markings.
