How cool is this? My mice cultivated their own bok choi! Having read at this board how much they love it (thanks for the great tip, gg !) I started putting bok choi whole standing in a bit of water in an Ikea candle holder in the mouseries. After a couple of days I took the completely chewed remnants out. The glass jars now had a mixture of damp walnut substrate and breeders choice in them round the bok choi where it had been kicked by excited mice. On a whim I put these outside. Instead of dying or rotting - they grew! So I now have four bok-chois-in-a-candle-holder on rotation which can go in the cages, are nibbled, taken out, revived and grow, returned for nibbling ad. infinitum.

That is really cool. I really love what you are doing with your natural mousey.
